Collioure is situated right beneath the slopes of the Pyrenees, just a couple of miles north of the Spanish border. Forty km from Perpignan, 100 km from Girona Airport, 100 km from Caginou massif, 150 km from the ski slopes near Andorra, near Canal du Midi, Carcassonne medieval village, wind surfing along Canet plage and 200 km from Barcas and Gaudís Barcelona.	There is a train station in Collioure. Train to/from Paris, Barcelona, and Perpignan. Fly to Barcelona, Montpellier, Perpignan, Toulouse, Béziers or Girona. Airport coaches or train. By car; there is a private parking-lot waiting by the Villa.

We found our way to Collioure by mistake. In 2000 we were traveling from Bordeaux to Marseilles and many miles from everything we ran out of gas... As a spring buck, or hippo – can't remember – I leaped over the A62-fence, leaving my better half reading. After a long time I appeared again. Now with gas and a map full of first-rate tips from my new found friend – the farmer behind the fields. »Rivesaltes, Côte Vermeille, a boulangerie at Le Boulou and, Collioure – très pittoresque!« We fell in love.
